Shay Lavi’s passion for cooking started at an early age. Born and raised in Or Yehuda, Israel, he was exposed daily to the old fashion cooking methods of his mother and grandmother. Everything was made from scratch, while fresh spices and produce were bought directly from the farm. He feels most connected to the food that he grew up eating. His company “Let’s Eat!” was created because he wanted to share his recipes with the world and use his family’s influence to create delicious food.
Shay opened Rozina bakehouse & coffee to share his dedication to the industry and passion for food with all who desires the experience. The restaurant include authentic Mediterranean pastries baked in house daily. All ingredients were locally sourced and the menus changed seasonally. His desire to serve keeps him eager to constantly create delicious food. He strives to share the authenticity of original Mediterranean cuisine, using fresh spices and local ingredients.
