Gut Oggau 'Josephine'
Gut Oggau! “Josephine” is a blend of Blaufränckish and Roesler, grown biodynamically on 35-year-old vines in gravel and limestone soils, in Burgenland, Austria. The must is spontaneously fermented with native yeast in oak vats and then aged for 18 months. The wine is bottled unfiltered and with no Sulphur addition.
Red cherry, blackberry, and cassis on the palate, ample spice, and great structure and acid, this wine pairs perfectly with our coppa steaks or pork chops. There is an extremely limited supply, so be sure to try some while it’s here!
